MDP National Presidential Candidate Mr. Mohamed Nasheed visited Chennai and New Delhi to attend two official seminars organized through the Observer Research Foundation on the theme "India-Maldives, An Interaction". The seminars held in Chennai on 09 July and in New Delhi on 10 July were attended by Political representatives, analysts, business organizations, NGOs, diplomats and the media.
Mr. Nasheed is accompanied by MDP Vice President Mr. Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, Representaive to the UK, EU and US Mr. Ahmed Naseem, Parliamentary Group Leader Mr. Hassan Afeef MP, and Media Manager Mr. Mohamed Zuhair.
At the seminars, Mr. Nasheed gave a presentation of his vision and policies for the "Next Maldives", and Mr. Zaki spoke on the difference in political relations with an dictarorial regime and a democratic government and the scope of relations with India in an MDP government. Mr. Hassan Afeef gave a presentation on the amended Constitution and the implications on delaying its ratification. Mr. Ahmed Naseem spoke on widening investment opportunities and trade in the Maldives and Mr. Mohamed Zuhair gave a presentation on Labour issues and provisions of the Labour Law in the amended Constitrution.

anni would have done sell so well if he didnt try to be bigger than democracy and values now he has lost the best of his buddies and alone struggling.
You cannot expect him to be perfect he is human afterall. But the fact is he has contributed and sacrificed more than anyone in bringing freedom to maldivians, thats what we are all enjoying today.
Perhaps its time anni forms a team of respected and corrupt free people from soceity and go beat DRP.
The Maldivians have lost complete trust in this dictatorship under Gayyoom. MDP and Mohamed Nasheed (Anni) are responsible for the origin of all these reforms. Thank you MDP and Anni! Thank you the international community!

I appreciate what MDP and Anni has contributed in the changes that we are seeing today. There are other candidates like Hasan and Ibra but they are very different from Anni. The most important decisions (for me) he has made is that he has declared that he will consult in every aspect durin his presidency and he will not interfere with religious matters allowing the shcholors to make the decisions. He is a man of intergrity and he has shown this in his many years of political history. After being elected as the candidate from the largest opposition part, even then he was willing to share and back a single opposition candidate while people like Ibra showed their abosolute greediness. There is no-body in the world who can agree with Ibra when he says that it is better to go alone...
No It was Gayoom and his "islaahee agenda' that paved the way for the freedom. Not Bulhabe Anni.
Just kidding i thought i will make golhaa group have a sigh of releif and pride for a while. It is indeed the people who took to streets protesting and those who supproted them . If we take one single person i have to agree the biggest single biggest contributor is Anni. This is the fact.
gasim first choice would be to make sure DRP is the ruling party. however he has made clever plans and bought out MDP, adaaltah, IDP, thun Metaa party + rest into his pockets. he gives all of them decent contributions. Since all these parties have no values and would take money from any person. they are sold out too.

At the very early stage of MDP, all the members were united, but this is not the case today, thus I urge Anni and his shadow cabinet to resolve this problem sooner than later, instead of showing OFF abroad.
I believe that for MDP to go further and to get support from the international community including India is very important. I praise Anni and the leadership of MDP for standing firm and for what the have achieved in transforming the country towards the next Maldives. May god bless Anni to keep the movement strong and sail to the next futuristic Maldives.

He is the right person for this moment, the rest are the puppets of this regime. All the rest have try maintain this regime one way on other. Once they are fail they formed a party, and starts criticizing the regime.This is the fact. Most of them dont have guts to criritcize while they were in the government.Anni has never changed,and will never bow to this dictator any time in his fight to bring democracy to this country.

"democoracy" should learn to spell english words first..both withought and daught is not an english word..how can these people rule this little maldives without knowing to spell without and doubt..golha is much better then these uneducated buggers..
