Description
Himadhoo island residents were told by the previous dictator government of Maumoon that their mosque was to be demolished as they had to follow government rules on Islam only.
One method that the dictator used to practice against its political opponents was to take videos and pictures of opponents and later arrest them one by one off the street and put them to prison. Therefore, the residents had no choice but to cover their face and protect the masjid with their lives.
